Winter time Skin

Hello beautifuls! I hope everyone has been staying warm lately. Its starting to get awfully chilly out here in South FL. Which is what brings me to this post. Something I have started doing lately is swapping out my foundation for tinted moisturizer. The reason I have been doing this is cause no matter how much I moisturize I still end up with dry spots on my face and my foundation brings a lot of attention to those spots. My skin will get flaky and I think we all know dry flaky skin is NOT attractive!
A little while back (beginning of summer time) I bought a tinted  moisturizer cause I wanted to look more natural and wanted something quick and light that I could just throw on. Well I bought Jemma Kidd's Pro Finish Moisture Tint SPF 20 in 01 fair. The only problem was during the summer it made me look a little to greasy and shiny. So I stopped using it.
This is what I happen to be using. (01 fair)
However..... now that winter is here, I started using it again and it works like a charm! It covers great, blends amazing, and my skin is soooooo soft!!! It keeps me moisturized through out the entire day!!! I am so in love with this product! (During the winter that is) So if you ran into the same problem I had, I would definitely consider a tinted moisturizer.  I think people with combination or dry skin should think about it. But if you have oily skin then I dont think its the best idea only cause of how shiny it made me look in the summer. Choice is yours. Happy holidays guys!

Subtle Pink

I know "Tis the Season" but I felt like doing something a little neutral and yet still have a touch of color. This would be a great look for work or something casual. Let me know if ya wanna know what I used.

A closeup, not that you needed me to tell you that! ;) lol

This look would be nice with nude lips too.

Bye Bye fine lines

Ok so I know I'm not really that old, but I have notice a few fine lines in the corners of my eyes, my forehead and my smile marks. I'm tring to prevent the inevitable! lol WRINKLES!!! I know I will get them some day, I just hope I can prolong my wrinkle freeness. lol I have been researching only, and it turns out Im not the only young(er) girl doing it either. I love of celebs around my age and younger are doing it too! I'll be 26 in 2weeks btw. I have read that Pro Retinol helps with skin rejuvenation. Its a form of Vitamin A. If your older and have a deep wrinkle issue, then Pro Retinol is not for you. You need something more along the lines of Retinol. The difference is that Retinal is the purest form of Vitamin A, and Pro Retinol refers to less active forms of Vitamin A. Vitamin A is an antioxidant that reduces the effects of harmful elements in the skin, preventing wrinkles and infections to keep skin vital and younger-looking.
So anyways, I went out and bought Garnier Ultra Lift Anti-Wrinkle firming night cream. lol And to be honest my skin feels sooo much smoother, my fine lines arnt as visible anymore either! I think I love this stuff! lol

It is very creamy, goes on smooth, and it smells amazing! It dosnt leave me greasy at all! I have notice a little tingle around my eyes where the skin is a little more sensitive and around my nostrils. but that is it. The tingling stops after about 1-2 mins. (It does not turn red or anything)

Before I rubbed it in.

I have been using it for 4 days now, and I have not broken out from it or have had any form of irritation from it at all. Thank God! I chose the Pro Retinol as apposed to the Retinol, because I dont have any deep wrinkles. I'm just trying to preserve my skin, not really fix anything. I hope this post helped those of you who are interested in Retinol and/or Pro Retinol.

After I rubbed it in.

Be sure to compare/examine my skin on my next makeup post! :)
